The Recall feature on Windows 11 includes several shortcuts, including
Windows key + J
to open the app, a
Home
key to jump back to the beginning of the timeline, a
Tab
key to move to the now segment, and many others.
In addition to using the mouse to navigate the Recall app on Windows 11, you can also use keyboard shortcuts. I’ll walk you through the whole list in this article.
Recall is the new timeline experience that analyzes and assists you in searching using natural language to discover almost anything you have done or seen on the screen using a combination of AI and pictures. It is intended to serve as a time machine for your computer usage.
The Recall experience offers a variety of keyboard shortcuts that you may use to work with the timeline more rapidly, even if you can still navigate the interface with ease using the mouse. Recall offers two sets of shortcuts in Windows 11. While the second set of shortcuts is intended to interact with things within the snapshot, the first group lets you browse the application.
All of the keyboard shortcuts Microsoft has developed to interact with Windows 11’s Recall function are included in the table below.

It’s crucial to remember that Recall is only available on Copilot Plus PCs with a particular processor type that has an integrated neural processing unit (NPU) to manage AI activities. At the moment, only PCs with Qualcomm Snapdragon X processors can use it. Additionally, you can use these procedures to omit websites and programs that you don’t want the function to keep information, as well as to enable Recall on Windows 11.
