UPDATED 5/24/2024: You may download the new default wallpaper that Microsoft is releasing for the new ARM-based AI PCs for your Windows 11 (or 10) desktop.
In order to introduce a new generation of computers powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon X Series processors that will, for the first time, unlock true all-day battery life, new AI capabilities with built-in NPU, and unmatched performance even on the most advanced Apple silicon (on its category), the software giant is hosting a significant media event on May 20, 2024. These devices will come with a new version of the Bloom wallpaper.
Despite being exactly the same as the original design, Bloom adds color to the wallpaper by including the same color patterns as the Copicon.
There has been no official announcement or publication of the new wallpaper. Rather, it was swiftly made public by X user @cadenzza_ after being leaked online via a private chat in a Windows Insider Telegram group.
Although it’s unknown if Microsoft will make this more vibrant Bloom wallpaper accessible to everyone, you may locate and download it to your PC by using the link below.

Even a version of the wallpaper with 8K resolution is available for download.
This wallpaper isn’t official, but it might be the default for future ARM PCs from Lenovo and Samsung, as well as the Surface Pro and laptop that Microsoft intends to reveal at its press conference.
After downloading the photographs, choose the one you wish to use as your desktop background by opening Settings>Personalization>Background, choosing the Picture option under Personalize your background, and then clicking the Browse Photos button.
