Connect iCloud to Photos app on Windows 11
Follow these instructions to link iCloud to the Windows 11 (or 10) Photos app:
Windows 11 OpenPhotoson.
Select iCloud Photos.
Press the button labeled “Get iCloud for Windows.”
To install the program, click the “Get” or “Install” button.
In the Photos app, select the “Open iCloud for Windows” button.
Enter your Apple login information to log in.
You may access your media via the dedicated iCloud Photostab in the left navigation pane after connecting the Photos app to iCloud. Your iCloud media will show up next to your local and OneDrive media if you click the All Photostab button. Each picture will have an iCloud icon to inform you of the file’s location if the attribute feature is enabled.
Microsoft just made the capability available for Windows 10 starting with version 2024.11080.30001.0, even though the integration for Windows 11 has been available for a few years. According to Microsoft, the new functionality will initially be accessible through the Windows 10 Beta and Release Preview Channels.
