How to install Copilot (web) as an app on Windows 11, 10

UPDATED November 16, 2023: I’ll show you how to install the Copilot web app as an app on Windows 11 (and 10). Originally called Bing Chat, Microsoft changed the product’s name to Copilot. With the use of OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Bing search capabilities, the chatbot continues to provide users with the most recent information.

Copilot does not yet have a specific desktop application, despite being available from Windows 11 and Microsoft Edge. Nevertheless, Copilot can always be installed on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge as a Progressive Web App (PWA).

The technology that enables websites to provide users with an app-like experience—including offline functionality, notifications, automated updates, simple installation and uninstallation, and other features—is referred to as a progressive web app. The developer is responsible for putting these features into practice, though.

The procedures I used to install (and uninstall) the Copilot app as a PWA on Windows 10 or 11 will be explained in this article.
